About this instrument
Weather for ATProto.
Weatherwatch turns aggregate event rates from a named public Jetstream observer into a readable platform-weather report.
Why it exists
ATProto activity is easier to understand as changing conditions than as a wall of counters. The public reading comes first; every source window and derivation remains available beneath it.
What it looks at
Aggregate create, update, and delete events delivered by the observer named on the report. It retains counts and observation-health records, not raw events.
What it does not claim
It does not measure people, readership, attention, sentiment, conflict, or a canonical network total. One observer is not the network.
Can I verify this?
Yes. Read the methodology and receipts, inspect the machine-readable artifacts, and see the source on GitHub.
Privacy
Published artifacts contain no observation-derived DIDs, handles, record keys, CIDs, AT URIs, or text. Fixed operator identity below is authored accountability metadata, not observed material.
Who runs it?
Operated by The Neutral Ambassador (@neutral.zone). Source on GitHub. Source code and project history are published by James Beck on GitHub.
